Booking Your
Break.
To book your holiday you will need to
complete and sign our booking form and pay the
non-refundable deposit required. The person
signing the booking form is called the “Lead Name”.
They must have authority to contract on behalf of all
other people going on the holiday. By signing the
form the Lead Name is stating that all persons named on
the form have accepted these booking conditions.
The Lead Name will be responsible for the full cost of
the holiday, including any cancellation or amendment
charges.
All our events take
place within the UK and the European Union.
Insurance.
It is a condition of your booking
that you have insurance cover for your holiday
regardless of whether it is the UK or abroad. It
is extremely important that you have adequate insurance
cover. We recommend you take out insurance at the
time of booking to help recoup your holiday costs,
should you have to cancel your holiday due to unforeseen
circumstances. If you do not have insurance, we
will not be able to offer any refund in the case of
cancellation.
Confirmation.
Our Contract is made with you when
you ask for your holiday to be confirmed. If we
accept your booking we will set aside your chosen
holiday for you and send you a confirmation invoice,
showing the holiday you have booked and the total price.
Our responsibility is to provide the holiday we have
confirmed for you.
Payment.
Prices and supplements are per
person. Prices for hotels are usually based on two
adults sharing a room. The prices shown are in
pounds sterling. You must pay a deposit of £40:00
per person when you book. The remainder of your
balance is notified on your confirmation invoice.
All deposits are non-refundable. Paperwork or
tickets will not be issued until your holiday has been
paid in full.
Deposits and remittances
can be made by the following methods: cheque made
payable to LP Events, debit card or credit card.
Please note that there is a booking fee applied for
debit or credit cards. To book your holiday by
debit or credit card you need to telephone LP Events on
07791 319364.
Changes To Your
Holiday.
If after booking, you or any member
of your party is unable to proceed with the holiday, you
can transfer a substitute person, providing they satisfy
all the conditions applicable to the original booking
and we receive your request in writing. Both the
person taking and person leaving the booking will be
responsible for paying any additional costs arising from
the transfer such as extra charges imposed by hoteliers
and other service providers.
If You Cancel.
If you want to cancel the entire
holiday, you must send us a cancellation instruction in
writing, signed by the lead name. This instruction
should be sent to us by post or fax. Cancellation
takes effect on the date we receive your written
cancellation instruction.
If you cancel after we
have confirmed the booking, then you must pay us a
charge to compensate for the expense and losses, which
we incur as a result of cancellation. We start to
incur costs from the moment you make the booking.
The closer your cancellation is to the departure date,
the less likelihood there is of us being able to recover
the costs by reselling the holiday. That is why
our cancellation charges increase the closer the
cancellation is to the departure date.
If you cancel for a
reason covered by your insurance policy you should be
able to recover your cancellation charges. We will
issue a cancellation invoice for your insurers on
receipt of your cancellation instruction.
The cancellation charges
will be calculated in accordance with the table below
and will be notified to you by us following your
cancellation instruction. Where one or members of
a party, which has booked a holiday together wishes to
cancel their holiday, but the remaining members of the
party do not, then the cancellation will be based by
those cancelling.
